The Measure of a True Wyoming Conservative

A True Wyoming Conservative never wavers. They take bold action and fight for our values of freedom and liberty. The following scorecard is shared out of necessity to make sure all elected state legislators are held accountable to the Wyoming Republican Platform.

A Certified Conservative is anyone with a score of 80% or higher.

Life

A True Wyoming Conservative votes for historic wide-sweeping protection of the unborn and human life. (HB 152)

A True Wyoming Conservative values human life from conception to natural death. The suicide crisis hotline has received over 10,000 calls and did not cost the State of Wyoming any money. (HB 65)

Education

A True Wyoming Conservative protects our high school female athletes by making sure that girls compete in girls’ sports and boys compete in boys’ sports. (SF 133)

A True Wyoming Conservative supports significant advancement in school choice, providing options for parents to choose their child’s education. (SF 174)

A True Wyoming Conservative supports career and technical education – like FFA and shop classes. This legislation ensures that Wyoming students are prepared for Wyoming jobs. (HB 33)

Election Integrity

A True Wyoming Conservative votes for legislation that prevents liberals and democrats from crossover voting and ensures that only true Republicans are casting votes in our primaries. (HB 103)

Property Tax Reform

A True Wyoming Conservative votes for the first (and required) step in protecting Wyoming citizens from property tax increases. (SJ3) (HJ2)

Second Amendment

A True Wyoming Conservative believes the right of an individual to bear arms is a fundamental constitutional right that shall not be infringed upon. (SF 120)

Marriage

A True Wyoming Conservative believes marriage is a sacred union that should be protected from the practice of child marriages in forcing or even selling young girls into marriage. (HB 7)

Conservative Fiscal Policy

A True Wyoming Conservative voted to save $3.50 for every dollar spent in the supplemental budget. Wyoming’s permanent savings is a tax cut of $3,100 for every Wyoming household every budget cycle. True Wyoming Conservatives save taxpayer dollars and cut government spending. (HB 1)
